Founded in August 1993, Shanghai Highsun Marine Equipment Trading Company Ltd., hereinafter referred to Highsun, is a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Trading Co.,Ltd. Highsun is a state joint stock foreign trading company invested by ten state-operation enterprises in jurisdiction of China State Shipbuilding Corporation(CSSC) and two local companies. Depend on integrity superiority under coordination of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Highsun concentrates the experience of technical acknowledgment, markets development and production capacities of above enterprises and companies, and operates the business in the manner of modernization management to meet the strong competition in today's world.

Higsun has won the ISO 9002 CERTIFICATE awarded by DNV in 2000 and CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL for enterprises with foreign trade rights issued by Chinese Government.

Due to the beneficial results can be obtained only when clients and reputation are placed above every other consideration, so the principle of Highsun in governing foreign trade is "Clients First". In this way Highsun has successfully operated and widely developed the business with the customers in both home and abroad. The main business scope of Highsun involves boats & parts, marine equipment & spare parts. selling of complete equipment for the cement production line and etc. In the meantime, Highsun also engage the business of casting fabrication according to client's drawing with the unit production capacity up to 30 tons per casting piece. The foundry of Highsun has been awarded the certificates of LR, DNV, GL, ABS, BV, KR and CCS. Up to now Highsun have already set up the closed business relations and done business with many foreign companies, such as KAWASAKI, IHI, DAIGATSU, SSANGYONG, WARTSILA, HSD and so on. The products with strong competitive price have been exported to many countries and regions in the world, such as United States, Italy, Greece, Finland, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia,Hong kong & Taiwan. During business operation, Highsun also pay attention to set up cooperation partner relationship with the concerning companies. For instance an agent agreement have been signed between Highsun and Korea Ssangyong Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. Under this agent agreement, Highsun becomes the sole agent agreement, Highsun becomes the sole agent for Korea Ssangyong Heavy Industries in China to deal with the business of selling marine diesel machine, drive equipment, generator set and diesel spares manufactured by Korea Ssangyong Heavy Industries Co.,Ltd.
